Who is responsible

Verónica Pavón, the artist behind Veronica Oriental, is responsible for the personal information handled through this website. For questions about privacy or to exercise your rights, contact contact@veronicaoriental.com.

Information you provide

The contact form asks for your name, email address, enquiry topic and message. For performances, classes and workshops, you can also provide a date and location; these are optional. The form includes its language and a record that you acknowledged this policy, together with the policy version and submission time. Please do not include sensitive information or information about other people that is unnecessary for your enquiry.

Why this information is used

Your information is used to read and answer your enquiry, discuss availability and practical arrangements, and take steps towards a booking or collaboration when you request them. It is not used to subscribe you to a newsletter or send unrelated advertising.

Where the GDPR applies, processing an enquiry about booking a service is based on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. General correspondence and protection against abuse are based on legitimate interests in answering enquiries and keeping this website secure. Other applicable legal obligations may require certain records to be retained. The checkbox confirms that you have read this notice; it does not authorise marketing or replace a separate consent where one is needed.

How your enquiry is delivered

Cloudflare hosts the website, processes form submissions and delivers enquiries to the artist’s Gmail inbox, provided by Google. Your information is handled by these providers as needed to operate their services. The website does not store enquiries in its GitHub repository or a separate enquiries database. The email includes your answers, the form language, and the policy acknowledgement with its version and submission time. Your email address is used as the reply address.

Technical information and security

Cloudflare processes connection information, including your IP address, to deliver and protect the website. The contact form uses the IP address to limit repeated submissions and includes a hidden spam-detection field. The application does not add your IP address to the enquiry email and does not deliberately record message contents or email addresses in application error logs. Providers may maintain their own operational and security records. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

How long information is kept

Enquiry emails and related correspondence are kept while your enquiry is being handled and are then deleted from the artist’s mailbox, unless a legal obligation requires specific records to be retained. You can request deletion at contact@veronicaoriental.com. Provider logs and backup copies follow the relevant provider’s retention processes.

International processing

The artist travels internationally, and Cloudflare and Google operate internationally. Information may therefore be processed outside your country, including in countries with different data protection rules. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the relevant transfer requirements must be met; the providers describe their arrangements in their privacy and data protection information.

Fonts, videos and external links

The fonts used on this website are served by the website itself, without connecting your browser to Google Fonts. External social media links take you to services governed by their own privacy policies. No audience analytics tool has been added to this website.

Some articles offer YouTube videos. Their players and thumbnails are not loaded from YouTube before you accept, unless this browser already has a valid saved permission. Accepting enables YouTube videos throughout this website. It connects to YouTube (Google), shares technical information and may allow cookies or similar technologies under Google’s policies and your settings. Players use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode; this does not remove all third-party processing. A preference containing only the notice version and expiry date is saved in your browser’s local storage for 180 days, so the request is not repeated on every video or visit. If browser storage is unavailable, the preference can only be kept during the current visit. You can keep videos blocked and continue reading. You can revoke permission beside any enabled video or in the website footer. Revocation removes the saved preference and unloads all players on this page; other open tabs on the same site also respond to that change. It cannot undo information already sent or delete data stored by YouTube. Reading or acknowledging this policy does not constitute consent to YouTube cookies.

Your choices and rights

You can contact contact@veronicaoriental.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of your information. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw any separately given consent, or complain to a competent data protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Reasonable information may be requested to verify your identity. If you prefer not to use the form, you can email the same address directly.

This policy may be updated when the website or its processing practices change. The date above identifies this version.
